PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms use the same core logic for determining match outcomes, including win conditions, draws, and handling of cancellations or abandonments.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with credible reporting as a fallback

Core resolution logic:

  • A win by either team (including via DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover) resolves the respective win market
  • Matches ending in a tie with an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over) resolve to the winner of that tiebreak
  • Matches ending in a tie without a tiebreak, or that are canceled/abandoned, resolve to draw
  • Postponements/reschedulings keep markets open until the match is completed

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tie with Tiebreak: If the match ends tied and a tiebreak (e.g., Super Over) is used, the tiebreak winner determines the resolution
  • Cancellation/Abandonment: If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or completed without a winner, the market resolves to draw
Timing: Resolution occurs after official statistics are published by the governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours of the match conclusion if official data is delayedOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the cricket match between Sri Lanka and India scheduled for August 23 2026 in Test Match. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
