Each actor satisfies the payout criterion through either official announcement or actual performance in their designated role. An official announcement, confirmation, or public credit as cast satisfies the criterion even if performance never occurs. Actual appearance on stage, screen, or in recorded content as the character also qualifies. If the film is cancelled after an official announcement, the market still resolves Yes for that actor. Multiple actors may be cast in the same role (e.g., alternating cast or dual casting), and the market resolves Yes for each announced or performing actor. The market may resolve No prior to expiration if the film is cancelled without the actor being announced, or if another person is officially announced as the sole exclusive performer for that role.
