Both platforms consistently define resolution as the team winning the 2026-2027 Stanley Cup Finals, with a defined fallback for cancellation or incomplete seasons.Primary resolution logic: Official NHL information; consensus of credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to 'Yes' if the listed team wins the 2026-2027 Stanley Cup Finals.
  • The market resolves to 'Other' if the NHL season is cancelled or the Finals are not completed by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET.
  • In the event of a tie, the team listed first alphabetically will be considered the winner.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Cancelled Season: If the 2026-2027 NHL season is cancelled before the Stanley Cup Finals are completed, the market will resolve to 'Other'.
  • Postponement: If the Stanley Cup Finals are postponed beyond June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to 'Other'.
  • Tie: If multiple teams are declared winners, the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically will be considered the winner.

Polymarket

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
