Description

This event tracks who Time magazine names as Person of the Year for 2026. The honoree could be an individual, group, or concept, and must be explicitly named or pictured on the cover to count toward resolution.

Kalshi

If multiple persons win, all persons listed are encompassed within the payout criterion. The person must be explicitly named as Person of the Year or pictured on a relevant cover if associated with the winning group or concept. When Time uses language not specifically referring to a person or organization, Kalshi resolves to the most simple meaning reasonable. This does NOT count if there is no Person of the Year designation or if the award uses alternative titles. If a non-person entity wins, related but non-synonymous terms do not resolve to Yes unless explicitly named or identified in imagery.
