This market tracks which major music artists will release new studio albums during 2026. An album qualifies if it contains original compositions first released during the calendar year, including new singles, unreleased tracks, or collaborations featuring new material in LP or EP format.

A new album must consist of original compositions first released during 2026, taking the form of an LP or EP. It may include new singles, unreleased tracks, or collaborations featuring new material. Re-recordings (unless in a new language), remasters, radio edits, clean or explicit releases of existing tracks, remixes, live versions, acoustic versions, instrumentals, demos, alternative takes, or artist versions do not qualify. Additionally, albums that have not previously been available on Spotify but were widely publicly available before 2026 do not meet the payout criterion for a new album. Each artist is evaluated independently on whether they release qualifying new material during the specified period.
