Description
This market series tracks the maximum price Bitcoin will reach during 2026, with multiple thresholds ranging from just under $100,000 to $200,000. Traders can bet on Bitcoin reaching various price milestones throughout the year.
Kalshi
The event comprises seven markets tracking whether Bitcoin's spot price according to the CF Bitcoin Real-Time Index will exceed specified thresholds ($99,999.99, $109,999.99, $119,999.99, $129,999.99, $139,999.99, $149,999.99, and $199,999.99) at any point during 2026 through December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Resolution uses a trimmed mean calculation of all BRTI minute-level values from the measurement start date through expiration, removing the top and bottom 20% of values and averaging the remaining 60%. If Bitcoin crosses a threshold at any point during the measurement window, the market resolves immediately to Yes (early expiration). If no data is available at expiration, the market resolves to No. Markets can resolve early if Bitcoin definitively crosses the threshold before the target date and time.
