This group of markets focuses on predicting whether Ethereum will reach or dip to specific price thresholds during the month of August. The markets cover a range of prices from $900 to $3,750, with some markets resolving based on high prices and others on low prices.

All markets consistently use Binance ETH/USDT 1-minute candle data to determine if Ethereum reached or dipped to specified price thresholds during AugustPrimary resolution logic: Binance ETH/USDT trading pair 1-minute candle data

Core resolution logic:

  • Markets resolve to 'Yes' if any Binance 1-minute candle during August has a high price >= specified threshold (for reach markets) or a low price <= specified threshold (for dip markets)
  • Markets resolve to 'No' if Ethereum never reaches/dips to the specified threshold during the entire month
  • Only price action during August counts - prior or subsequent movement is irrelevant

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Market Creation Timing: Some Polymarket markets only consider price action from market creation through August 31st, while others consider the full month. Kalshi markets consider price action from issuance through August 31st.
  • Time Zone Specification: All markets use ET time zone for defining the August period (00:00 AM ET on first day to 11:59 PM ET on last day)

What price will Ethereum hit in August?

All markets resolve to Yes if, at any minute between issuance and 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2026, the trimmed mean price of ETH exceeds the specified threshold. The trimmed mean calculation excludes the top and bottom 20% of minute-by-minute price data to mitigate volatility effects. If CF Benchmarks data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, all affected markets resolve to No. The measurement period begins at issuance and continues through the end time, with the Exchange specifying the exact ETH version or ticker tracked.
