Description

This market tracks how low West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices will fall during 2026. Resolution depends on whether the minimum WTI front-month settle price reported by ICE falls below specified price thresholds between market issuance and December 31, 2026.

Kalshi

The market resolves to Yes for each price threshold if ICE reports that the minimum WTI front-month settle price falls below that level between issuance and December 31, 2026. Thresholds range from $79.99 down to $49.99, with each threshold evaluated independently. Resolution is based exclusively on ICE's official reporting of WTI front-month settle prices, and a single occurrence of the price falling below any threshold during the period satisfies that outcome.
