These markets track the national popular vote margin in the 2026 U.S. House of Representatives general election, calculated as the total vote percentage for all Democratic candidates minus the total vote percentage for all Republican candidates. Each market corresponds to a specific margin range, allowing traders to bet on whether the final result falls within that band.
The national House popular vote margin is calculated as the vote percentage received by all Democratic party House candidates in the general election minus the vote percentage received by all Republican party House candidates in the general election. The margin will be positive if Democrats win the national House popular vote and negative if Republicans win. Each margin range is inclusive of its lower bound and exclusive of its upper bound, with no rounding applied to the calculated margin. For example, a margin of 5.99999% resolves within the 5-6% range, while exactly 6% resolves within the 6-7% range. The markets partition all possible outcomes across ten distinct ranges: Republican wins (negative margins from -100 to 0), Democratic narrow wins (0 to 2%), and progressively larger Democratic victories (2-4%, 4-6%, 6-8%, 8-10%, 10-12%, 12-14%, 14-16%, and 16% or greater). Resolution occurs upon release of the official national House popular vote data.
